Fit kit adapters for quick release mounts
Specialty roof top tent mounting hardware for adapting the quick release mounts to specific roof top tent brands. All hardware is stainless steel.
- 1200 - For use with T-slot rails. T-bolts replace M8 hex bolts. Kit includes 8 x M8 T-bolts and 4 x jam nuts.
- 1205 - For use with Autohome roof top tents. Also used for replacement slider plates. Kit includes 8 x M8 carriage bolts, 8 x square washers, 4 x jam nuts.
- 1210 - For use with iKamper BDV roof top tents. Kit includes 8 x M8 carriage bolts, 8 x M8 washers.
- 1215 - For use with iKamper 2.0 and 3.0 rails. Kit includes 4 x square washers, 4 x circular washers, 4 x carriage bolts.
- 1220 - For use with James Baroud hard shell tents. Kit includes 4 x square washers, 4 x circular washers, 4 x shims, 4 x carriage bolts.
- 1225 - For use with Intrepid or Go Fast Camper Superlite tents. Also fits Tuff Stuff Alpha pre-2022 roof top tents. This kit replaces the original M10 T-bolts with M8 carriage bolts. Kit includes 8 x M8 carriage bolts, 8 x square washers, 4 x jam nuts.
- 1230 - For use with Rhino Rack Reconn Bars, ARB Base Rack and other large cross bars. Extra-long carriage bolts for use with wide cross bars. Increases max width from 3.75″ to 6.0″ Kit includes: 4x M10 x 200 mm Stainless Steel Carriage Bolts. Replaces shorter carriage bolts included in standard kit.
Do I need a fit kit?
Fit kits are only required for roof top tents that have “non-standard” frame rails. Please see the pictures below for what a standard frame rail looks like. A fit kit is required because some tent models are built with unique frame rail extrusions. To function correctly, we need one side of your mounts to slide open and close in the tent frame rail.
If your roof top tent mounting hardware looks like the photos below, you DO NOT need a fit kit.

If you do not need a fit kit, double check that you have 8x standard roof top tent mount plates (shown above) with your tent. These mount plates should have been included with your tent’s purchase, these will be required. If needed, you can purchase these.
If you purchase a specific fit kit for your tent then the new adapters will replace the standard mount plates.
