Easy to install. Easy to use! Now I feel secure!

The original mounts from Intrepid were a serious pain in the rear since the rack I had on my Bronco was too low and there was very little clearance to reach in and tighten the bolt on the original clamps. Sold my Bronco and wanted to mount this on my Smartcap with a Frontrunner rack. After talking to Trevor at the Flagstaff Overland Expo, bought these Vanultra mounting brackets and haven't regretted it. One problem that occurred was the RTT only sat on the front and rear rails of the Frontrunner rack so the tent would walk and move on the rack. I purchased a 1" thick board and cut it to fit between the Vanuitra clamps, this created a solid platform for the rails of the RTT to sit on across the entire roof rack and solved the walkng problem.

When I called Vanultra to discuss this problem, they were very helpful and I couldn't recommend them any higher, great customer service. The picture is on the Baja Peninsula living the retired life. Highly recommend the retired life BTW! :-)

I wanted these for the ease of set up and take off of my iKamper Mini 3.0 from my truck. I took the time to get all the stationary mounts mounted to their exact location. Now when I go to place the tent on, all I have to do is move the tent forward until it hits the front mounts and I am lined up; just have to move the Quick Release bracket and throw the cotter pin in. Then taking off is even simpler. Quality product with quality materials and I couldn’t be more thrilled for this set up! If you are considering a Quick Release mount option, these are the best on the market. I have had zero squeaking, rattling, or loosening from the assembly on over 500 miles of spirited trail driving.

I bought this mounting lock system last summer and i can say its really good and served its purposed to protect your RTT from being taken while you left your vehicle in parking lots. its worth it highly recommended additional security to your investment.

Ordered the locking mount and did not pay attention to the "Will it fit" section and realized my bed rack dimensions were bigger then what is currently supported in regards to fitment. I reached in regards to options in making this work and Trevor was great to point me in the right direction! I did not want to return as I haven't seen anything else on the market that is this unique in securing my rooftop tent. Will definitely be ordering a second mount!

Tent lock is simple to install, only took minutes with the right tools. Provides very steady and stable lockup of the tent. Great product!

We had our last tent stolen, we were just using the included hardware and had hoped the weight would be enough to deter theft, boy were we wrong.

Really stoked on these locks, easy install and they forsure add a level of security to deter. We combined two of these with some of the special M8 nuts you can buy. Always good to have levels redundancy

I take my tent on and off a ton. With the vehicle I drive it's always been difficult getting my hands underneath the tent between my car roof in order to get the mounts attached and tightened down. I was excited to see if this solution would help make the process easier. Not only does it fix that issue. It's extremely quick releasing and mounts back onto the roof just as fast.

I use a lift in my garage and I can get my tent on and off in a little over five minutes with no help. The mounts just clamp directly onto my rack and tighten down with just a couple bolts. I've been using these mounts for months now and have had zero issues. They don't come loose, they don't make any noise and they are easy to set up.

I was initially unsure if this mount would work with my setup, particularly because of the Roam box I have in the back, but it turned out to be a perfect fit. I installed the brackets with the screw heads facing forward and encountered no issues. I’ve had these brackets on for about four months now and have taken them on several road trips. Although the iKamper sits slightly higher than with the stock mounts, I didn’t notice any significant increase in wind noise on the freeway. Overall, this is a solid mount, and compared to the stock ones, it’s much easier to install.

Incredible product, first of all. I could not be happier with the fact that I can now remove my rtt from my truck bed and drive around without it weighing the truck down anymore than necessary. Also, your customer service is 2nd to none. Amazing knowledge, super-helpful and the parts came pre-installed with longer bolts I needed for my extra-wide bed rack bars. This mount was a breeze to setup and is super solid. Additionally, the rails on my tent were changed by the manufacturer leading to the vanultra kit not to fit. However, they worked with me to get the new dimensions and shipped out new parts the next day for me.

I would definitely buy from them again.

If you want a more solid connection than your OEM mounts (typically two 1/4” bolts and a thin metal plate) and one that can be removed easily for tent storage, then this is for you!

It what I was looking for and installation was straight forward.

Install was quick, straightforward and once setup needs no adjustments. Simply loosen the rear bolts and you can remove the tent and reinstall in minutes. My inspired overland tent was super noisy with the oem mounts but with these mounts it feels rock solid and is dead silent in all conditions including super rough trails, rock, forest etc. I have had my tent mounted with these for over 2k miles now and they haven't budged or made any noises, highly recommend.
