This lock mount is well build, very solid. Now I have a peace of mind leaving my RTT on my truck. Worry free. I highly recommend this vanultra. Any lock mounting system go to them. Trevor is very helpful. Great customer service.

I looked into other mounts to secure my roof top tent and the others seem to use the nuts you can get on Amazon that have special sockets, but realistically anyone with vise grips can remove them. The Vanultra mount uses normal bolts, but the has a locking plate that goes over them. Maybe and I mean maybe with enough force you could pry the plate off, but considering there isn't that much room, I think people will just move on. I bought 2, so now it's double the problem. Hands down, I think this is literally the only solution out there to keep people from stealing your roof top tent. I still need to prevent people from taking my rack with the tent off, but that's another problem all together.

I've had the Quick Release Mounts for a little over a year now and can say they really are amazing. I had a few questions getting them installed on the crossbars I originally had and customer service was on point to help out within minutes of me reaching out. I had my RTT on the roof of my truck, almost full time, from April through November and have had zero rattling noise or fitment issues. These mounts hold tight while in use and are an absolute breeze to take off (and put back on) when needed. I'm actually working on installing these mounts on a new rig and customer support has been super helpful getting me up to speed on what I need to do. I'll be a loyal customer for a long time to come and can't imagine installing a RTT on one of my trucks without using quick release mounts. THEY ARE THE BEST!!!!!

We’ve had our RTT Quick Release Mounts for over a year now, but after moving homes we won’t have a garage hoist anymore to remove the tent. We decided it would be wise to invest in some locks in the meantime. The Quick Release Locks simply replace the existing clevis pin in the mounts, and are very easy to install. They feel very solid and have a really clean look to them. There is a black rubber cap to protect the lock from getting dust in it. Great product and great company.

Instructions were clear and easy to follow. You will need a 13mm deep socket wrench. I love how it makes it easier to remove the tent from your vehicle but also offer security locks to keep away the thieves.

The only gripe I had was that one of the rubber padding came off even before installation. Not a dealbreaker though. Given what is available on the market right now, this is a no brainer.

I've had the RTT Quick Release Mounts now for nearly a year and they have performed flawlessly. Our RTT has stayed attached with no drama despite being driven for hours on some truly horrible rock garden roads and other nasty terrain.

Getting the tent on and off is super easy. So easy, I got complacent when removing the tent recently. I failed to ensure the mounts were clear of the roof rack bars and one of them got bent out of shape by the hoist. 100% my own fault to make such a basic mistake.

I reached out to Trevor and the team at Vanultra about purchasing spare parts, really not expecting any response till after the holidays, and the very next day they are shipping me what I need under warranty! Unbelievable! They had no obligation to cover my mistake. I can't say enough great things about the product and company! :)

The hoist works just fine. It picks up and lowers my 200 pound roof top tent on and off my truck rack without any problems. Definitely use a drill to move it up and down, the hand crank takes forever. Seems sturdy and I expect it to last for a long time.

Amazing mounts! They worked perfectly and were so easy to use! And the customer service was fantastic on helping me pick what matched my tent and crossbars!

Due to some complications I have not been able to use the mounts just yet. That being said they do feel like quality and the folks at Vanultra are excellent! Support small business's!
